In the largest study ever of its kind, results from the University of Iowa (Oct 1992 issue of The Journal of Applied Psychology) revealed that hypnosis was the most effective way of quitting smoking- 10 times more effective than the patch and 15 times more effective than willpower alone.

These findings came from statistics combining 600 studies of over 72,000 people from America and Europe. Since then, these quit smoking techniques have been improved even further.

 

What sort of results can I expect?

Hypnosis gives you the normal, natural feeling of not wanting a cigarette. The intention of the program is that after your session you don't have to use willpower, because all of you feels like a non-smoker. You will get solutions to stop physical and emotional cravings.

 

Is hypnosis safe?

Hypnosis is safe. It is not dissimilar to the feeling we get when drifting off to sleep. You are aware at all times and you can terminate the session at any stage. You will be given positive suggestions for better overall health, for less reduce stress and to remove the cravings for cigarettes. 

 

What does hypnosis feel like?

Hypnosis is an enjoyable experience. It is an energising, yet relaxing experience and many people report that they had not relaxed that deeply for years. 

 

What if I can't be hypnotised?

Almost everyone can successfully go into trance, as it is a naturally occurring state of mind (just like when we drift in and out of sleep at night). Quitting cigarettes for yourself and being able to concentrate on the day of your appointment are a necessity. 

 

Hypnosis exclusions?

- Certain diagnosed mental disorders.
- Medications that effect concentration.
- You are quitting only because of other people.

 

Can I really quit cigarettes in 60 minutes, is that long enough?

Yes you can. A typical appointment will last between 60-90 minutes and we will cover a lot of information in this time. The unconscious mind learns very fast and is able to produce lasting change, with the right systems in place.

 

97% are successful, what about the 3%?

Someone with a mental impairment, or a person on certain medications may find difficulty in quitting with this program. The people who will find the greatest success, will be those open to a few new ideas and who have a genuine desire to put cigarettes behind them.

 

I'm worried about putting on weight, does this system help me with that?

We provide strategies to avoid possible weight gain. You will create new, healthy alternatives (in session) to replace the old habit of smoking.

 

Will I have to avoid my friends or partner when I quit smoking?

You can freely spend time with anyone and everyone you want, even if they are still a smoker. This program is designed so 'You' are in control, no matter who you spend time with.

 

I've tried hypnosis before and it didn't work?

That's okay, think of anything you have done before, as lead up work to quitting smoking this time. Was it maybe not the right time last time? Did the program come with a lifetime guarantee like this one? This system is comprehensive, you will get the tools you need to remain a non-smoker.

 

How will I know if the system works?

Because you are a non-smoker, finally feeling free and knowing you have done it. At the end of your session you will be asked if you are confident with the tools you have been given. The full intention of the program is that you know and feel you can do it.
